Wesley's School Project

Wesley was having business day today at school. He had to come up with a product that he could make himself and then sell it. They earned pretend money at school by keeping all 4 legs of the chair on the floor, keeping their desk cleaned, etc. When Wesley told me about this, he said he wanted to make a food product. First he said cookies. I then began to tell him that he needed to think of something that would not cost a lot to make and that he would make a great profit on. The minimum that they charged was $1 per item. It cost Wesley $4 and some change to make his product, including labels and bags. He bagged up 35 bags and charged $1 per bag! Do the math...he made a killin'! He did a great job making the carmel popcorn.
